Oakridge residence

The intent of this renovation was to open up the one very compartmentalized floor plan and an open space that would accommodate a busy family who loves to host and entertain, be together for home cooked meals and nights by the original wood fireplace. The office needed to serve multiple functions and double up as a guest suite with a pullout sofa and built in desk that looks more like a beautiful display than the dedicated work space. The kitchen was enlarged taking up the space of both the former kitchen and dining room and we added multiple additional windows, as well as a sliding glass door to the backyard, to flood the space with natural light.
